Samim Abedi
Samim is the Global Head of Portfolio Management at Wahed. He has nearly a decade of industry experience across institutional and retail Asset Management. Prior to Wahed, Samim was at Google where he traded and managed the internal investments portfolio. Samim spent 6 years at J.P. Morgan in New York across Asset Management and Investment Banking businesses. His roles included investment strategy and research, portfolio management for non-profits (endowments and foundations), and sales & trading. He has experience in equities, credit, alternative investments, macro strategy and portfolio construction, customizing solutions for both large institutional clients as well as individuals. He earned his B.A. with honors at Williams College, majoring in Economics and Anthropology.
